The  Association of Professional Truck Drivers of America^® (APTDA) is a not-for-profit association formed to provide products and services to owner-operators.

APTDA recognizes the importance trucking plays in our country’s economy and the unique partnership between motor carriers and professional drivers.  APTDA’s philosophy, products, and services are designed to offer advantages to both motor carriers and owner-operators.

Insurance

The APTDA Insurance Program is available to individuals and groups with ten (10) or

more trucks and/or drivers.  By offering these coverages directly to owner-operators, independent of the motor carriers, we help preserve the independent status of drivers working under lease to these motor carriers.   Available coverages include Physical Damage, Non-Trucking Liability, Occupational Accident, Passenger Accident, Contingent Liability, and Workers’ Compensation for Fleet Owners.
